Week of June 7th Updates!

Hello students,

I had a great time this school year teaching you more about technology. I hope you learned some valuable tools that you can take with you to other classes, your career and beyond. This was the first year of the our school being open and I appreciate your patience with the whole process. I will be finishing up all the grading this week (including make-up work) and you will receive your final grades soon.

Module 15 is due in its entirety by Wednesday, June 9th at 11pm. No late work will be accepted after this date and time.

I have added one assignment this week: Assignment 15-05 - DUE June 9th . We are continuing Module 15, which is the final project.

Week of May 31st Updates!

Hello students,

I hope you enjoyed your Memorial Day Weekend!

Back to business; You will not be able to go back and work on any old modules for the rest of the year. I see that most of you took advantage of making up work while the modules were open.

Module 15 is due in its entirety by Wednesday, June 9th at 11pm. No late work will be accepted after this date and time.

Week of May 24th Updates!

Hello students,

I noticed that most of you have not started on the final module. It is very important that you take this project seriously as its worth 100 points total and can affect your grade deeply. Take initiative and start the project and you will find that it has real world application and it is beneficial to your future. Do not wait till the last week and try to cram it in with all of your other classwork.

I have added on assignment this week: Assignment 15-03 - DUE May 30th. We are continuing Module 15 which is the final project.

Week of May 17th Updates!

Hello students,

We are now embarking on the final project which is split into sections and will have assignments due each week until the end of the semester. Make sure you read Lesson 15-01 - FINAL PROJECT OUTLINE. This will give you the information you need to complete the project. Check back each week for the new assignments to further your project. We will also be taking a quiz on Quia the final week.

I have added 1 lesson and 2 assignments to complete this week: Lesson 15-01 - FINAL PROJECT OUTLINE, Assignment 15-01 - DUE May 23rd, Assignment 15-02 - DUE May 23rd. We are starting Module 15 this week which is the final project. There will be no more daily assignments for the rest of the year, so make sure you put a strong effort into the final project.

Week of May 10th Updates!

Hello students,

I hope you took advantage of this past testing week to make-up assignments. The past modules will be closed off for the rest of the semester as stated in last week's post. No more late work will be accepted for those modules. I need to time to grade all your work and calculate grades before the end of the semester. Also, Module 14 is due in its entirety by Sunday, May 16th at 11pm.

Week of May 3rd Updates!

Hello students,

Star Testing is upon us for this week. Because, of this there will be no new assignments to complete this week. Make sure to try your hardest on the Star Testing. I know you will do just fine.

Also, I have opened all the modules for this semester. They will be opened for this week only. This will be the last time they will opened for this semester. Make sure you take advantage of this opportunity and turn in assignments that you have not completed. The past modules will be closed off completely by: Sunday, May 9th at 11pm.

Next week, we will be working on a new module and it will be be business as usual.

Week of April 26th Updates!

Hello students,

MODULE 12 and Module 13 will be closed off completely by Monday, May 3rd at 11pm. Also, 12-week progress report grades will be mailed out to you soon. We are on our last 6 weeks of the semester. I gave you a 2-week break from Daily Assignments and I hope you enjoyed it. They are back now!

Week of April 12th Updates!

Hello students,

We had a good time at Big Hat Days this past weekend! I did notice that not one Technology student volunteered to be in our school booth. You got a second chance to earn some extra credit this upcoming weekend at Vintage Days at Fresno State. It is a fun experience to get to talk to people and give away free stuff. Contact me if you are interested.

I am also giving our class a break on Daily Assignments this week (they will return next Monday). Most of you have done a great job turning them in. Some of you have been trying to figure out your grade on Moodle. Don't worry about the grades on Moodle. Those are not your actual grades and are incorrect. Progress report grades are what you need to be concerned about. Also, spring break is right around the corner and I hope you enjoy it!

Week of Feb 8th Updates!

Hello Students,

I hope you are enjoying your day off for Lincoln's Birthday! I wanted to clarify a few things. First off, daily assignments are to be completed the same day that they are assigned. This is how us teachers keep track of your attendance in our courses. Please follow this direction as it will make it easier for everyone.

Also, for the second semester, modules will be closed off completely on certain dates. That means all work needs to be turned in by the date stated in the module. Also, keep track of when individual assignments are due to avoid late submission penalties.

SEMESTER 2, week of Jan 25th Updates!

Hello Students,

One semester is under your belt and now its time for the second! This semester will be more challenging with some new topics. We also will be starting to do DAILY ASSIGNMENTS which will be due every weekday before 11pm. We will start off with a typing log, which is what you did at the beginning of the first semester. Also, this will be a good time for you to take to make-up any work that you have not completed. The last day to turn in all assignments is Wed, Jan 20th. Assignments will not be accepted after this date. If you any questions about the assignments, feel free to contact me. This last week is your last chance to raise your grade.
